We will be meeting at a new Facility
beginning in October.

THE PALM CITY COMMUNITY CENTER

2701 SW CORNELL AVE

PALM CITY, FL
 

Our FIRST MEETING will be held on MONDAY, OCTOBER 19th.
 

ALL OTHER MEETINGS will be held on the Third WEDNESDAY of each month
at 1:00 PM.

The Center is located on the RIver, just across the Palm City Bridge, on the lefthand side, off SW Martin Downs Blvd.

Meetings start at 1 PM and end at 3 PM

​​​Barbara Fugazzotto
"A Fresh Approach to Composition" 
Barbara demostrated various ideas behind her Abstract Composition.  After 25 years of an art teaching career, much of her inspiration comes from her travels, from artists, artisans and their work.  She mentioned often how Art puts her in a Zone which takes her materials and her on a journey: "desination unknown".

Featured Artists:

October 20 - Kate Wood
Runs the Alchemy Fine Art Restorers (conservation, restoration, gold leaf gilding) and teaches oil and acrylics at the Artists' Nook.

 

November 17 - Ayesha DeLorenzo
A member and the Treasurer of the Wellington Art Society.  She is a gifted painter of large ocean and sky works.

 

December - Holiday Luncheon
 

January 19 - Karen Massengill
Well known local teacher and painter with a studio in one of the cottages in Jensen Beach.  She also teaches at the Artists' Nook.
 

February 16 - Barbara Efchak
A talented painter of still lifes, florals and portraits.  She was also a potter for many years.

 

March 16 - Angela Leggio 
An excellent realistic painter of a wide range of subjects.


April 20 - Barbara Fugazzotto
"A Fresh Approach to Composition"

 

May - End of Season Luncheon
