2026-2027 AAMC Meetings with Featured Demonstration Artists

At each monthly meeting, we sponsor an art demonstration presented by a local artist.  Lectures and demos provide a learning experience in which we can ask questions and experience the creative process of other artists.​​
 

October 19, 2026    Mary Mirabito is an excellent oil painter who taught art in Boston Public Schools for 30 years and greatly enjoys plein air.

November 18, 2026    Manon Sander is a well traveled painter of colorful contemporary impressionist oil paintings.  Her work is on display at various galleries and she has taught at the Lighthouse Art Center.

January 20, 2027    Vickie Marsango runs her own Jensen Beach art gallery and studio displaying wonderful abstract works.  She works with acrylic, oil, encaustic beeswax, pigments, mixed media, collage, and assemblage to create well balanced works.  Her gallery was part of the studio tour this past year and was a joy to see.

February 17, 2027    Charlene McCulley owns and manages Stuart Art Supply and has been a very welcome and supportive addition to our local art scene.  She has been a commercial artist, including graphic design, and long time art teacher.  Stuart Art Supply also provides the Artist Nook space where many students study art.

March 17, 2027    Lanzhi Wang is a talented painter proud to blend her Asian past (born in China, artistically nutured by Japan).  She has a background in ceramics as well as painting.  She notes that "My multicultural background allows me to create art that feels both timeless and borderless".

April 21, 2027   Deborah Bottorff creates what she calls colorful dimensional expressionist work comprised of mosaic cutouts.  You'll find her work and process quite interesting.

2026-2027 Artist of the Month Themes

At each meeting we have a competition open to all AAMC members.. Bring one piece of your artwork, and be sure it follows the month's theme.  Please bring a table top or floor easel to display your art.  Entries will be set up by 1:00 pm to be voted on by members and guests selecting their favorite artwork.  Voting ends promptly at 1:30. The winning artist is recognized by a photo of their art that will be published on the AAMC website.
