Each month we sponsor an art demonstration presented by a local artist. 

Lectures and demos offer a learning experience where we all learn something new.

Featured Artists:

October 16, 2023 -Mary Mirabito:  Mary is a former long time school art teacher with a great interest in plein air painting.

​

November 20, 2023 - Deborah Bottorff:  Deborah practices colorful dimensional expressionism , creating wonderful foam mosaics.

​

December Holiday Luncheon

Date to be decided on.  A restaurant or another venue.

​

January 15 2024 -  Sally Browning Pearson:  Sally is a popular long time teacher and skilled watercolor painter.             

​​

February 19,2024 -  Ayesha DeLorenzo:  Ayesha recently joined the Wellington Art Society board and is very skilled in painting ocean settings and clouds and abstract paintings.

​​

March 18,  2024- Kathleen Denis:  Kathleen will do a demonstration on the use of colors.

​

​

April 15, 2024 Chris Kling:

Chris is a successful and very well known local painter, and very skilled at providing demonstrations.

​​

May 2024 - no meeting but a 

luncheon at a local restaurant.

Time and place to be decided.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH VOTERS' CHOICE

 

    At each meeting we have a competition open to all AAMC members.. Bring one piece of your artwork, and be sure it follows that month's theme.  Please bring a table top or floor easel to display your art.  Entries will be set up by 1:00 pm to be voted on by members and guests selecting their favorite artwork.  (Voting ends promptly at 1:30.) The winning artist is recognized by a photo of their art that will be published on the AAMC website.
