Our next meeting will be on October 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM

We meet at St Mary's Episcopal Church

623 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, Florida

The Artist of the Month theme for October: Artist's New Creation

The Demonstration Artist for October: Kate Wood

In 1966, a small group of artists met in the studio of Mrs. Harold Stafford to exchange ideas. As the group grew in numbers, they organized as a corporation. AAMC received its non-profit designation 501c3 on April 17, 1988.

In 2000, our esteemed member and past president, Professor Mahlon A. Cline, left a bequest for AAMC in his will. The provisions of the legacy stipulate that only the interest may be used, not the principle, first for our scholarship fund; then, any balance may be used for the general purposes of the organization.

Today AAMC is one of the largest art societies in Martin County. AAMC is a board run, not-for-profit organization with goals to assist and encourage creativity in the arts. We provide the opportunity for local artists to share and learn in a supportive atmosphere. We sponsor member exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops and interact with the other art associations in our area.
