At 1:00 artists setup their paintings for Artist of the Month. Voting is cut off at 1:30. A short meeting begins. It is then followed by a demo by one of our Featured Artists.

Kathleen Denis
gave an incredibly informative demostration in acrylics
highlighting her approach to
light, shapes and intense colors
which define her unique florida scenes.
She also shared her experiences
as a frequent participant
in many of the Florida Paint Outs.

demonstration of "Scherenschnitte" which is the
German/Swiss art of paper cutting.

Mike Nolan is a well known
teacher and painter specializing on Florida's diverse wildlife.

Chris Kling is a very well known artist and will present an interactive class in portraiture.

Janis Clary Oehlschlager paints a variety of subject in
both oils and acrylic.

Kathleen Denis is known for capturing sun-drenched scenes of island life and old charming towns.
April 17, 2023
Danuta Rothschild is a popular artist engaged in telling stories
with her often surreal paintings.
May 2023 - no meeting but a
luncheon at a local restaurant.
